About The Event
The truth is, most of us at some point suffer from this busy mind affliction which interferes with our ability to live a truly fluid and easeful life. Our western lifestyle sees to that!
With this in mind, this course has been designed for normal people living very busy lives who seek a little calm amidst their life’s storm. Kimberley teaches very practical techniques, in small manageable steps, in order for you to build both a sustainable mediation practice and mindful habits (that see you through those busy, crazy days!).
What You Can Expect:
- A supportive, friendly and caring atmosphere
- A course that is founded from solid research, with clear and practical practices. A course that holds your hand and shows you the way forward
- A beautiful, colour printed handbook that supports each week’s focus for you to keep, note take in at the sessions and even journal in (if you’re the journaling type!)
- Weekly sessions that run for 1 ½ hours, that includes some theory, practice, support and group conversations/sharing (it kind of helps to share how you’re going… often you find out you’re all experiencing similar things)
- Om Work! A weekly focus or practise to work on at home each day
- Weekly mP3 meditation recordings. Each week a new meditation is shared via Dropbox to guide you with the week’s focus. As the week’s progress the meditations build and layer towards a final, longer meditation. Week 1 is a 5 minute, daily meditation - created to help ease you into a sustainable practice without freaking you out.
- Access to a private Facebook group - where you can connect, share and support each other and past members of the course
- Support from myself via a closed Facebook group and weekly video emails to maintain momentum between sessions.
- Possible frustrations (Yes! I’m not going to fib and promise all flower crowns and unicorns here - sometimes there’s a little push back and annoyance before breakthroughs)
- To feel things shift and ease for you throughout the weeks as you practice and slowly awaken your awareness to how you habitually react, while shifting towards response. This is the gold you’ve been yearning for!!
- All of the above, cloaked in a soft and caring approach that allows you to create what works for you in your life. Some of you will take it by the reigns and run with, and some will pull apart pieces that fit seamlessly into what is manageable. Both approaches see significant benefits.
