Almond Biscuits

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups almond meal

1tsp aluminium free baking powder

¼ cup coconut oil

2 tbps maple syrup

Handful of chopped dates

A few extra dates (halved) for the top of the biscuits


METHOD:

Heat oven to 180°

Place all ingredients into a bowl

Mix with a wooden spoon (we use our hands to make sure the coconut oil is well dispersed)

Use a tablespoon to measure amount for each biscuit

Roll and slightly flatten on baking tray

Place halved dates on top of each cookie

Bake for 10 – 12 mins (depending on your oven)
